I think I must have bears on the brain after working on Potapych.
I was going for a kind of Disney style bear, seeing how close I could get using the cel shading to look like a hand drawn character.

This was just done for a bit of fun, Inspired after visiting the Tezuka museum in Kyoto.

These characters were made to pitch for an advert for a Canadian chain of shopping malls.

This character was made as a pitch for the SKY TV campaign in Italy beginning at the end of 2007.
The snowman in the finished advert is somewhat different than this one, but I still kind of like him.

I designed, modelled, setup and animated this character to pitch for a new children's educational video about how the body works.
Oxy is the guide and runs around veins and different parts of the body.

I designed, modelled and animated this character for a Spanish language CD-ROM.
Primarily she was to be used for a little help icon to give encouragement and react to the users answers.
She has now been used as part of the branding of the product. www.athomeinspain.eu

I modelled and setup this character for the second 'Beefy & Lamby' advert.

Sparx was the first character I ever created, way back in 1999 (last century!). I was studying animation at college and wanted to make a
sci-fi animated
short that was 3 minutes in length. This version of Sparx was completely 2D, and to be honest, was pretty bad. Not deterred,
I created another 3 minute
short with Sparx for my BA (Hons) major project. This time I redesigned Sparx (still 2D) but had all the backgrounds
and most of the other elements in the film in
3D, all cel-shaded to fit with the 2D. I've always been fond of the character (maybe because it's my first one),
and decided to have a go at making him in 3D back
in 2002. As I was only just becoming proficient with modelling, this version was not too good and
the rig
was awful to work with.
So, the version above is the fourth incarnation of the character and is about as good as he's going to get.

Hedge and Plat are two characters from a short film I started some time back which hasn't been developed further (yet).
I still like these guys and the idea as a whole, and will hopefully push these further in the future.
